The Pen Arts Gallery will be welcoming visitors to its 1701 N Street address. Please come and experience the ethereal combination of sitar and harp reimagined through contemporary cover songs, intercultural mashups, and originals. The creative duo comprised of award-winning musicians Snehesh Nag and Nadia Pessoa seamlessly blends Hindustani classical traditions, Brazilian music, improvisation, and soulful alternative and rock grooves while fully exploring the expressive range of their instruments.

Featured art by artist Timoteo Murphy will include pieces from his new series “Playing in Traffic.” As with much of his work, Murphy’s themes are inspired by jazz in its many forms and by social justice issues.
